Win Kent, M.S.Ed., LPC, is a compassionate and highly skilled clinical mental health counselor at Panacea Behavioral Health & Wellness Center. The center serves clients in North Carolina, Virginia, Arizona, and Florida. Win brings a strong academic foundation and a heartfelt dedication to helping individuals achieve meaningful growth and healing.
Win earned his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Old Dominion University and holds a Bachelor's in Psychology from Christopher Newport University. Specializing in a variety of mental health challenges, Win supports individuals facing depression, anxiety, trauma, LGBTQIA+ issues, relationship and family conflicts, and concerns related to sex and sexuality. His approach emphasizes holistic health, addressing the whole person to promote healing and growth.
Win’s therapeutic methods include person-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, Gestalt therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and trauma-focused modalities. He creates a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
With a commitment to mindfulness, strength-based strategies, and cultural sensitivity, Win tailors his counseling to honor each individual’s unique identity and needs. His contributions to the mental health field extend to research presentations at national conferences, covering topics such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychological experiences. He is also trained in Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES), Psychological First Aid, and QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer).
