Suzanna Doty, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a dedicated and board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) who offers compassionate care and personalized treatment plans. She works at Panacea Behavioral Health & Wellness Center and is licensed to practice in North Carolina, Virginia, and Florida.
Focusing on medication management and various therapeutic modalities, Suzanna is committed to supporting her clients on their mental wellness journey. Suzanna brings extensive experience in emergency, trauma, and acute behavioral health nursing within hospital settings, as well as outpatient expertise in life care planning. She has had the opportunity to practice nursing across multiple states and is currently licensed in Virginia and North Carolina. Suzanna’s diverse background and dedication to her community enhance her ability to provide comprehensive care.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in human environmental science from The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, a Bachelor of Science in nursing from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, and a Master of Science in nursing from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. This robust educational foundation allows her to effectively treat clients of all ages with a wide range of behavioral health disorders.
Suzanna specializes in treating ADHD, depression, chronic pain, PTSD, and personality disorders. As a military spouse, she is particularly passionate about serving Veterans and their families and understanding their unique challenges and needs.
Outside of her professional life, Suzanna enjoys running marathons, hiking, traveling, and spending time at the lake. Her dedication to physical fitness and outdoor activities complements her holistic approach to mental health care.
